The Charles Napiers (instrumental)
This absolutely brilliant instrumental version - the first one since the Beatstalkers - can be found on the Charles Napiers' second cassette, which is commonly known as the 'Green Tape'. Recorded April 14, 1994 by Liam Watson & Ed Deegan at Toe Rag Studios. Makes you wonder what would have happened if Link Wray had ever recorded a version himself. Ah...just keep dreaming! Better, buy the 'This Is...Mondo Wray' CD instead! It's a great introduction to this awesome band's work. 'This Is...Mondo Wray' is a compilation of live tracks, demo's, B-sides and songs from their first 3 cassettes, mini-LP and EP. Line-up: Dan Whaley (guitar) - Clive Pearman (rhythm guitar) - John Skittles (bass) - Danny O'Brien (drums). Dan and John are now also in The Diaboliks.
