The Paegans

This band included Brad 'Bun E Carlos' Carlson on drums who later found fame in Cheap Trick. You can read the whole story in the third issue of the excellent Lost And Found 'zine. Recorded in March, 1967 at Cuca Studios in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Released on Rampro, a Wisconsin label in May, 1967. Nice tremeloed fuzz-riff and cool handclaps in the finale make this a personal favorite. Pressed in quantity of 1500 copies. The A-side of course is a Beatles cover (from the 'Revolver' LP). Due to the Cheap Trick connection this may be the hardest version to find. Line-up: Rick Schnieder (organ/sax) - Brad Carlson (drums/backing vocals) - Jerry Parlapiano (rhythm guitar/vocals) - John Furland (bass/backing vocals) - Steve Carlson (lead guitar/vocals).
