  ·   The original version is by Them, not by Tommy Scott! Them's version was released January 21, 1966, the author's version was released in the summer of 1966.
  ·   'I Can Only Give You Everything' was recorded in 16 different countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA).
  ·   32 American bands covered the song, 6 bands from France, 5 British bands and 5 German bands, 4 bands from Italy, 3 bands each from Australia, Belgium, Canada and Holland, 2 bands each from Ireland, Scotland and Sweden and 1 band each from Argentina, Finland, Singapore and Switzerland.

  ·   7 different bands recorded a translated version, one is in Italian (Le Facce Di Bronzo: 'E' Inutile'), one is in Finnish (Kontra: 'Iloinen Tiede'), one is in German (Rundfunktanzorchester Kassel: 'Ich Kann Nur Geben Was Ich Hab') and two are in French (Ronnie Bird: 'Chante' and Les Sultans: 'Tu Es Impossible'). The Evil Thingies recorded cover versions of both 'Chante' and 'Tu Es Impossible')
